No Claim Discount

If you haven’t made any claims against your insurance policy in a year, we will consider you as a lower risk and will reduce your premium in recognition of this. The size of the annual discount and maximum amount of discount depends on the type of policy you have. Generally, the maximum no- claim discount is higher on Comprehensive “All- Risks” policies than on Third party policies.

Comprehensive

This covers repair or replacement of your vehicle for unforeseen events including collision, fire, theft, malicious damage, weather related damage, medical expenses, personal accident, luggage and personal effects, loss of license and glass cover. Coverage is also provided for any bodily injuries or death of persons in the event of an accident (excluding the driver).

Third Party

Third Party insurance is the minimum coverage required by law for your vehicle. This insurance provides coverage for any loss or damage that is caused by your vehicle to other vehicles or property, but provides no compensation or coverage for your vehicle. It also provides coverage for any death or bodily injury caused to others in the event of an accident.

General Good Advice

Read your insurance policy. We will use the policy and application form as the basis for settling clams and if you are familiar with the terms and conditions, you will not be unpleasantly surprised. Be sure to ask us or any of our agents/ brokers to clarify anything that is unclear to you.

Insure the vehicle in your own name or the name of your company. This will establish a proven no- claim discount over the years.

Remember to pay your insurance premiums on time. Coverage stops if the premium remains unpaid.

Remember that it is your responsibility to ensure that your vehicle is insured at all times.

Remember, wear your seat belts and avoid using hand held phones and other devices whilst driving.
